K18 HAIR ROUTINE

We know hair routines are not one-size-fits-all, but it helps to see how people use K18 in their specific process.

Maybe someone uses K18 to liberate their natural texture, that looks like this:

No matter what your routine looks like, K18 fits right after shampoo, and before any combing, product, or styling. Now, it’s time to make this routine YOURS—here’s a step-by-step breakdown of using K18 in your hair routine.

In the shower

Shampoo your hair and scalp. If you’re a heavy product user or are exposed to hard water in your area, try a detox shampoo. This deep clean will remove excess oils, product build-up, and any gunk that could prevent our K18Peptide™ from reaching the innermost layers of hair.

Next, you hop out of the shower. Already? Yup, you won’t apply K18 in the shower—this is an after-shower treatment you’ll apply to towel-dried damp hair.

Wait, but what about conditioner? Conditioner coats the hair and can prevent K18 from penetrating properly. So, when using K18, you do not condition. Yes, skipping conditioner may sound scary—but most find they don’t need it after using K18, and if you do, you can always add a leave-in after the initial 4 minutes like the first routine above!

Out of the shower

Towel-dry your hair 'til it’s damp. What does this mean? Damp hair means your hair isn’t dripping water everywhere, but still feels moist to the touch.

Now, this is when you use K18

To use it, start with just one pump of the K18 Mask and work it evenly into hair from ends to roots. Only add more as needed—this is a highly-concentrated formula, so you’ll need way less than traditional masks or even conditioner.

Let sit for 4 minutes to activate before combing or styling. This is your time to, oh we don’t know, maybe scroll the K18 social or have a mini science lesson on our blog… you do you.

And then bam, you’re good to go with healthy hair like new.
